​Wings to Thrive is a 501(c)3, nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to providing opportunities for families of children with autism and other unique needs, to improving their quality of life, day-to-day, and to strengthening their ability to plan their future with optimism.

 - The Reality -

 The biggest challenge facing families is the here and now, the daily realities of increasing isolation, when they are less and less able to participate in their community because of their child’s unique sensory experiences and challenges. Whether the child is young or older, isolation greatly decreases opportunities for families to experience “typical” celebrations, whether they be birthdays, holidays, community events or even,
family get-togethers.​​​​

If you have come to know me through the years, as the mother of a son on the autism spectrum, my life-long desire has been to focus on ensuring that autism families are provided enriching experiences with their children having access to communication, inclusion, enriching experiences and development of practical life skills.
